Set Automated Folder Rule

Content Manager enables you to set automated folder rule for container objects that have the Part Numbering - Record Type does not allow New Parts to be created option enabled.

To set the automated folder rule, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the record of the type container or folder. Select and right-click to get a context-menu.
2. Select New > Set Automated Folder Rule. The Setup automated rule for this record - ** dialog is displayed.

3. In the Automated Folder Rule (set to blank to remove) field, type the rule name, select from the list or click KwikSelect and select from the list of automated folder rules. Click OK.

   You can create new folder rule. Right-click in the Automated Part Rules window and select New Automated Folder Rule. See Creating automated folder rules.

4. Click OK in the Setup automated rule for this record - ** dialog.
